quiero decirle que me gusto much mi tiempo en Palmari, especialmente la travesia Onza. La hice con Valera y el es muy buena gente - era una buena aventura y el me enseno muchas cosas de la selva. Creo que era una buena decision ir solo ahi porque el grupo de doce fueron a acampar una noche cerca de la piscina natural pero regresaron durante la noche porque no aguantaron la lluvia.

Jetzt sind 6 Tage nach der Rückreise aus Palmari vergangen und ich habe nun endlich die Zeit gefunden, dir zu schreiben. Erst einmal ein riesen Dankeschön für diesen Gewinn auf dem Weihnachtsbazar vom San Mateo, der uns ermöglicht hat, den Amazonas und den Dschungel zu genießen.
Wir haben uns am Anfang sehr gefreut über diesen Gutschein, aber danach kam natürlich etwas unwohlsein auf!!! ;-)))) Wegen der Gefahren, die man sich ausmalt...
Am 10.01.2010 war es dann soweit und wir sind von Bogotá nach Leticia geflogen... Die Transfers ab Flughafen Leticia haben super funktioniert!!! Und der Weg zum Palmari ist gigantisch!!! Erst mit dem Taxi, dann mit dem Boot, wieder Taxi und wieder Boot…. Ein Wahnsinn, was man zu sehen bekommt!!! Die Personen, die auf uns gewartet haben, waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit!! Super!!! In Palmari dann angekommen, hat man uns herzlichst empfangen und uns alles wichtige gezeigt! Anschließend haben wir eine ausführliche Einführung in alle Aktivitäten erhalten… Daniell hat fleißig übersetzt…auch dafür ein Riesenlob.
Abends gings dann auf Krokodilsuche, die leider erst einmal erfolglos blieb…Allein nachts mit dem Boot rausfahren, ist schon ein riesen Erlebniss gewesen!!!
Am nächsten Morgen ging es dann los, um im Dschungel zu übernachten ;-)))))) Auch hier ein großes Lob an eure Guides!!! Sie waren immer sehr achtsam und anschließend im Camp haben sie die ganzen Hängematten etc. aufgebaut und Feuer gemacht, auf dem dann der leckere Reis gekocht worden ist!!!Ich kann es nur jedem empfehlen eine Nacht im Dschungel zu übernachten!!!! Ein wahnsinniges Erlebnis!!!! Ich bin immer noch überwältigt!!!
Nachdem wir zurück waren, haben wir uns kurz ausgeruht und dann gings auch schon mit dem Kajak raus um Piranhas zu fischen….. auch ein ganz tolles Gefühl, ohne Motorengeräusch und nur die Natur zu hören!!! Wir alle haben dann auch jeweils einen Piranha gefangen ;-)))))) Auf der Rückfahrt haben wir ganz viele pink/rosa Delphiene gesehen…es war atemberaubend!!!! Was für schöne Tiere!!!
Abends gings dann wieder zum Krokodilsuchen…Diesmal war es noch spannender als das erste Mal!!! Und wir haben tatsächlich einen kleinen Cayman (ich hoffe, dass ich das richtig geschrieben habe) gefangen, den wir halten durften und Jairo hat uns ausführlich über dieses tolle Geschöpf berichtet (Auch dafür ein großes Dankeschön!!!)
Am nächsten Tag kam dann: Die Baumwipfelplattformen besteigen!!! 40 Meter ist wirklich ganz schön hoch…huiiiiiiii, aber auch das war gigantisch schön…Wahnsinn!!! Toll!!!!Über den Bäumen zu sein und eine ganz weite Sicht zu haben…Wow!!!!
Und irgendwann zwischendrinn sind wir auch im See schwimmen gegangen, und haben eine kleine Spa Pause eingelegt ;-)))))
Ein Riesenlob auch nochmal an die Küche!!!!Es war alles sehr sauber und hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt…(Ich habe immer wieder im Reis nach Tierchen gesucht und nichts gefunden ;-))))
Die Rückreise hat super funktioniert…die Transfers waren perfekt organisiert!!!!
Mein Fazit für diesen Trip:
Eine einfach gigantische Reise mit Dingen, von denen man sein ganzes Leben zehren kann!!!! DANKE dafür….. hätte ich ihn nicht gewonnen, wäre ich nie auf die Idee gekommen, so einen Trip zu unternehmen!!! Und jetzt denke ich, dass ich es auf jeden Fall wiederholen werde, aber dann natürlich mit meinem Mann!!!

Hola Axel, soy Juanjo compañero de viaje de Montse . yo de Bilbao y ella de Barcelona, hace apenas un mes en Palmari, y escribo estas pocas líneas para sumarme a los comentarios que realizó sobre la reserva y que puedo añadir también el mismo entusiasmo en todos los aspectos tanto profesional como humano, que nos ha enriquecido mucho mucho si, y que lo llevamos en el corazón esas vivencias de la naturaleza, el paisaje, los animales, ese dia a dia y el compartirlo con ese grupo de gente siempre de buen humor y presta a ayudar en todo, y hacer que se pueda aprender tanto en tan poco tiempo.
Son unas vacaciones muy especiales, ciertamente que no sabiamos donde ibamos, la llegada fue épica pues fue durante una noche lloviendo todo el viaje en la lancha desde Atalaia pero que menos no para unos viajeros por ese rio arquetipico que es el Amazonas, no?? qué mejor entrada triunfal no?? Bueno, fue impresionante, el silencio , y la tormenta eléctrica fue un espectáculo que queda en los recuerdos, después ya el recibimiento con una buena cena y grata compañia hizo que todo fuera como un gran viaje.
Y los dias siguientes, pues todo fue sol y sol y sol, jajaja, como una compensación a la bienvenida, y un plácido discurrir entre el agua y las riberas, un continuo disfrute ya en las sombras de la selva o en el agua siempre acompañado por los delfines y peces de todos los colores. Qué mas puede uno pedir, quizá una cervecita fresquita, poco más, bueno y la compañía siempre buena de nuestro gran amigo guía Lucas, recuerdos y saludos desde aquí ahora tan lejos, espero que todo vaya bien por ahí, bueno pues envío unas fotos para recordar los buenos momentos y eso saludarlos a todos, tanto a la cocinera Tina, como al resto de amigos y animarles a que sigan con su labor tan buena!!!!
También recuerdos para Tutú (que peligro de tucán) y Laura (la mejor guacamaya-despertador del mundo) y claro la pava, que hacen un gran trio, seguro que están bien.
Pues nada más, abrazos y recuerdos.

Mi nombre es Paola López y estuve viajando con ustedes la semana del 5 al 11 de Octubre con el Colegio San Jorge de Inglaterra. Escribo para agradecerles por todo. La comida, la atención, los guías, Jairo, Carmen y absolutamente todo lo demás fue maravilloso. Sinceramente gracias por esa experiencia tan única, espero poder visitarlos pronto otra vez y sigan así.

no sabes lo que estoy diviertendome siguiendo esta aventura.
mi hija està entre ese grupo y desde ya quiero reservar para ir al año nuevo con mi esposo.
vivo paso a paso esta excursion del Gimnasio Los Robles.

I just wanted to drop you a line to thank you for my incredible visit to Palmari. I had a fabulous time and I want you to know how excellent your staff is (you probably already know this). Diego was my guide extrordinaire however I can`t say enough about the other guides as well...Yuki, Lucas, Bao, Manuel (pardon my spelling if it is incorrect). Diego was excellent and informative company and considering neither of us spoke the others language, we spent a lot of time laughing which attributed to the quality of the company we kept! Thankfully my friends helped interpret for me as well...
The food was wonderful and I always came to meals hungry and left satisfied. I can`t remember the kitchen boss` name but please let her know how fantastic she is.
Once again, thank you so much...the wildlife and flora was everything I had hoped and your staff made it that much more meaningful. Please let them know.

Just wanted to say thanks for the great stay at Palmari. I really enjoyed myself, and it was good to meet you. Its a fantastic place that you have there.
I saw you and Adam walking towards the boat to go fishing just before 6am...hope you both enjoyed it.
I hope to return with friends!

Que semana tan divina pasamos en Palmari David y yo! Quedamos encantados por el lugar y la gente.
A mi me consintieron con pescao toodoss los dias porque no como carne ni pollo y con el jugo sin azucar, jaja, dificil abstenerme de los postres pero lo logré! También me consiguieron un pedacito de palo de sangre, muchas gracias! a ver en que lo transformo.
Con todo y lo gallina que soy, me encantaría volver con mis sobrinos, me imagino que les encantará; Quedé enamorada de todos, que autenticidad tan maravillosa! Por favor darle las gracias a todos de parte de David y mia; en cuanto tenga donaciones que mandar, las llevo a tu oficina.

Yesterday I was watching some TV and I passed by the Travel and Living channel and then something familiar came to me... I just took a better look...that living room, those landscapes and yes, proudly it was Palmarí.
I enjoyed so much the 15 minutes of that TOP 5 places you have to visit in Latinoamerica, I felt so very happy for that, for seeing the place that will always be part of myself, in which I grew up so much, in which I spent the best time of my research about ecotourism. I felt I was there again.
So I just wanted to tell you I remembered all the smells, all the feeling sort of saudade and joy, I went back to your dream come true.
And I also see how much it has changed since I went, so congratulations Axel, for all you have made, because I know it has always been a great and constant effort but you always evolve. And I feel so honoured to have been part of it and that the jungle and Palmarí are part of what I call myself.
I hope you´re okay, and very happy. Have to see you again.

Hola Palmari!
I had a wonderful time in Palmari, but toooooo short. I could stay there for years. All the time the sounds of the animals around me and the amazing nature. The staff was sooooo friendly. Besos to the kitchen women - the food was muy rico; and to Maneu - great tours and kayaking, when I go kayaking in Alemania I think of you. I come back, that`s for sure!

We are two German girls and we had a great time staying at the Palmari Lodge! The Lodge is located at a beautiful spot and from the porch you have an amazing view. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the activities are fun! We went fishing, hiking, Kaiman spotting at night and kayaking. The food was delicious, especially the pancakes with Nutella for breakfast . The rooms are very nice and clean and the showers are great! There are two cheeky monkeys sleeping in tiny hammocks and a parrot who made us laugh a lot. We really recommend this place as we had such a lovely time there!!

I am well ware of the fact that it has been quite a while but I always wanted to let you know that we enjoyed our trip with Palmari and our guide Raul (Flaco) very much. The 3-day hike to Lake Onca was one of the most memorable experiences I have ever had traveling (and I have done some really crazy stuff!). It was tough (especially the first day because of the heat and the heavy backpack) and dirty (the mix of sweat/repellent/smoke and forest will never wear out of my brain). But to be so close to nature and to experience 3 nights in a hammock between two random trees in the middle of the rain forest made everything worthwhil e. I personally also enjoyed seeing the Milky Way and so many stars a lot.

bueno queri escribirte para darte las gracias por todos tus atenciones en palamari todo estuvo delicioso, la pasamos increiblemente rico fue el mejor paseo de mi vida y creo que el de todas las niñas que fuimos a palamari!

No habia podido porque la segunda sem,ana de vacaciones me fui a mi finca y no habia internet alli.

Mil gracias por la hospitalidad y por hacer de la visita a la reserva una experiencia de vida maravillosa porque así lo manifiesta mi hija quien llegó enamorada de todo lo que encierra Palmarí: la fauna, la gente, la comida deliciosa, en fin..... nuevamente gracias

Quiero manifestarles mi complacencia y mas que eso mi agradecimiento por habernos mantenidos enterados de las actividades y del transcurrir de nuestros chiquitos del colegio FREINET de la ciudad de Santiago de Cali en Colombia.
Fue realmente tranquilizante para nosotros como padres y esperabamos con ansías sus reportes por lo que no teníamos comunicación directa con nuestros hijos.
De nuevo gracias y fabulosa la idea de los Reportes

Escribo este message para decirce gracias por los exelentes momentos que yo paso en Palmari del 26 febrero al 2 de marzo. Muchas gracias por la qualidad de su servicios et su grande organisation. Todo estaba perfecto.
Gracias a Polo por su eficacidad, a Juan por su amabilidad et sobre todo a CAJU, que se occupa de mi durante mi pasaje, por su total disponibilidad.
Espero regressar un dia en amazonas.
